OZARK GROUT LIMITED WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY

We stand behind our workmanship and strive to provide a long-lasting restoration solution for tile and grout surfaces. This Limited Warranty outlines the coverage provided for qualifying services performed by Ozark Grout.

COVERAGE PERIOD

Epoxy Color Sealing

Coverage Period: 5 Years

Ozark Grout warrants that properly installed epoxy color sealing will remain adhered to properly prepared grout surfaces under normal residential use during the warranty period.

Grout Repairs

Coverage Period: 1 Year

Repairs performed to grout joints are warranted against workmanship defects resulting from improper installation.

Tile Replacement

Coverage Period: 1 Year

Replacement tiles installed by Ozark Grout are warranted against installation defects.

Caulking

Coverage Period: 1 Year

New caulking installed by Ozark Grout is warranted against workmanship defects.

Top Sealers

Coverage Period: 90 Days

Because topical sealers are considered a maintenance item and are affected by traffic, cleaning methods, and environmental conditions, top sealers carry a limited 90-day workmanship warranty.

WHAT IS COVERED

Ozark Grout will repair covered areas at no labor charge if any of the following occur due to workmanship failure:

  • Epoxy color sealer peeling

  • Epoxy color sealer flaking

  • Epoxy adhesion failure

  • Premature grout repair failure

  • Improperly installed replacement tile

  • Caulking separation caused by workmanship defects

  • Significant missed areas resulting from installation error

Repairs performed under warranty will be limited to the affected area only.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does NOT cover:

Improper Maintenance

  • Steam cleaning

  • Pressure washing

  • Harsh chemical use

  • Acid-based cleaners

  • Bleach-based cleaners

  • Ammonia-based cleaners

  • Solvents or degreasers

Structural Issues

  • Foundation movement

  • Settlement

  • Structural shifting

  • Subfloor failure

  • Wall movement

  • Water intrusion

  • Flooding

Physical Damage

  • Impact damage

  • Dropped objects

  • Furniture damage

  • Pet damage

  • Abuse

  • Neglect

Existing Conditions

Ozark Grout restores surfaces but cannot correct hidden structural issues that existed prior to service.

This includes:

  • Loose substrate

  • Improper original installation

  • Hidden moisture damage

  • Hidden mold

  • Hidden water intrusion

Normal Wear

Normal wear and aging are not considered warranty issues.

Examples include:

  • Surface scratching

  • High-traffic wear

  • Cosmetic aging

  • Loss of topical sealer due to traffic

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

To maintain warranty coverage, customer agrees to:

1. Observe Cure Times

  • No shower use for 48 hours after epoxy sealing

  • No foot traffic for 48 hours after epoxy sealing

  • Follow all cure-time instructions provided by Ozark Grout

2. Use Approved Cleaning Methods

Recommended:

  • Neutral pH cleaners

  • Mild soap solutions

  • Standard mopping procedures

Avoid:

  • Steam cleaners

  • Acidic cleaners

  • Caustic cleaners

  • Harsh chemical treatments

3. Report Issues Promptly

Potential warranty claims must be reported within 30 days of discovery.

WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS

This warranty becomes immediately void if:

  • Steam cleaning is used

  • Harsh chemicals are used

  • Customer alters repaired areas

  • Customer performs unauthorized repairs

  • Flooding occurs

  • Structural movement occurs

  • Areas are subjected to abuse or neglect

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Contact Ozark Grout.

  2. Provide project address.

  3. Provide photos of the affected area.

  4. Provide original invoice if available.

Ozark Grout reserves the right to inspect the area before approving warranty work.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Ozark Grout's maximum liability shall not exceed the original amount paid for the affected service.

Ozark Grout shall not be responsible for:

  • Consequential damages

  • Incidental damages

  • Loss of use

  • Water damage

  • Mold remediation

  • Hotel expenses

  • Third-party contractor costs

except where prohibited by law.

TRANSFERABILITY

This warranty applies only to the original customer and original project address unless otherwise approved in writing by Ozark Grout.
